A <strong>stockpile<\/strong> serves as a temporary storage area where mined materials are collected, organized, and managed before moving to the next stage of the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stockpiles can contain coal, ore, crushed rock, or other mineral materials. They are commonly separated according to material type, quality, grade, or intended use to prevent mixing and maintain consistent specifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective stockpile management involves more than simply creating a pile. Operators must control how materials are placed, stacked, reclaimed, and monitored. Proper management helps reduce material loss, contamination, unnecessary rehandling, and operational delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quality control is also an important part of stockpile management.
