Understanding these parts helps explain why excavators are essential in construction, mining, and large-scale earthmoving projects.<br>Boom: The Main Lifting Structure<br>The boom is the large upper arm connected directly to the excavator body. It provides the primary lifting capability and determines how high and far the machine can reach.<br>Built from high-strength steel, the boom must withstand extreme pressure during digging and lifting operations.
