Using a network of satellites orbiting Earth, Starlink is making it possible to bring high-speed internet to places where traditional infrastructure simply can\u2019t reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What Is Starlink, Exactly?<br>Starlink is a global broadband initiative powered by thousands of small satellites placed in low Earth orbit (LEO). Unlike older satellite systems positioned much higher above the Earth (which often caused slow speeds and lag), Starlink satellites orbit much closer\u2014allowing for faster data transfer and lower latency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed by SpaceX, Starlink aims to solve a long-standing global problem: internet inequality. Still, the conversation around responsible space usage is only just beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\u2019s Next for Starlink?<br>With more than 6,000 satellites already in orbit, Starlink is just getting started.
