Dengan tujuan utama untuk menentukan posisi relatif dan absolut dari berbagai titik di permukaan Bumi, geodesi memainkan peran penting dalam berbagai bidang, mulai dari navigasi hingga pemetaan dan perencanaan kota<\/p>\n<p>Aspek-aspek Utama dalam Geodesi<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Pengukuran dan Pemodelan Bumi<\/strong>: Geodesi modern melibatkan pengukuran yang sangat akurat dari titik-titik di Bumi menggunakan teknologi seperti GPS dan satelit. Model matematis seperti elipsoid digunakan untuk menggambarkan bentuk Bumi dengan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model sferis yang lebih sederhana.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geoid<\/strong>: Geoid adalah bentuk permukaan gravitasi Bumi yang teoritis, yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan perbedaan tinggi permukaan laut di berbagai lokasi. Pemahaman tentang geoid penting untuk navigasi dan pemetaan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sistem Koordinat<\/strong>: Sistem koordinat geodesi digunakan untuk menentukan lokasi spesifik di Bumi.
