Pada dasarnya pengukuran survei terestris dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi posisi dari suatu objek di permukaan bumi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Bisa dikatakan, bahwa survey pemetaan terestris sendiri memiliki peranan yang sangat penting sejak awal peradaban manusia. Survey ini biasanya akan diawali dengan melakukan pengukuran dan menandai batas \u2013 batas pada tanah \u2013 tanah pribadi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Dalam praktiknya, survey pemetaan terestris ini dilakukan dengan mengambil data dengan cara melakukan survey lapangan untuk memperoleh titik \u2013 titik berupa koordinat titik X, Y dan Z. Yang mana, hasilnya nanti akan membentuk kontur dan data topografi lainnya.
